To reduce the risk of injury to you and your passengers in the event of a collision, your Acadia comes with the following air bags¹:<ul> <li>Frontal and side-impact for the driver and front seat passenger, working with the safety belt to help absorb the energy of a crash </li> <li>Inboard seat-mounted side-impact for the driver, designed for additional protection in moderate to severe collisions from the side </li> <li>Head curtain side-impact, providing additional protection for all rows in the outboard seating positions </li></ul>¹ Always use safety belts and child restraints. When the pavement turns slippery due to snow, ice or rain, the antilock feature contributes&nbsp;even&nbsp;more to your safety:<ul> <li>Eliminates the need to pump the brake pedal to avoid lockup during hard stops.
